Description

Apgar lookout is a great vantage point for Lake McDonald area.  One can almost clearly see the whole range from North to South.  Many peaks in Alberta are clearly visible.  This trail used to be nice and shaded.  Since the burn in 2003 it's almost clearly open to the sky.  It has a decent amount of elevation gain, and many switchbacks.
