Description

Avalanche Lake is probably the most popular hike in Glacier, for 2 reasons. The trail opens early, and it's only a couple of miles of non strenous hiking to an AMAZING alpine lake fed by thundering waterfalls draining large Sperry Glacier. Don't Expect solitude here unless you go around Dusk, or Early in the morning as I did here.
