Panoramas

These Panoramas, were made of multiple pictures than compiled using some photo software.  Some are done with more time and better than others.  Any person with a good eye can pick out the areas where I combined the multiple pictures.  This gives you a great idea of Glacier National Park, enjoy my hard work.

View from Mt. Brown Lookout.  The largest mountain in the foreground, is the summit of Mt. Brown.  To the left are Stanton, Vaught, Heaven and the Livingston range.

View from Unnamed Peak, inbetween Iceberg Peak, and Swiftcurrent Lookout.  To the left is Cannon, than Heaven's Peak standing all alone.  One can see nearly the entire Livingston Range from this vantage point.  This hike was done early in the season, hence all the snow.  This panorama is the backside of panorama 5, which is a view into Many glacier.

View of Lake McDonald, this was my first panorama hence the terrible nature of it.  The summit of Stanton has been cut off, behind Stanton is Mt. Vaught.

This view is from Mt. Siyeh the 3rd tallest mountain in Glacier.  It is from east on the right to northwest on the left.  One can see of the mountains in the background, Heavens Peak, Vulture Peak to the left.  On the far right you can see, Mt Merrit, and Mt Cleveland the two tallest mountains are right next to each other.  In the foreground, the pinnacle wall is visible.  From left to right, Pollock Mountain, Bishops Cap, and Mt. Gould rising right above Grinnell Glacier.

This is a view looking in to Many Glacier from the pinnacle wall.  This view works with Panorama 2, which provide together nearly a 270degree view.  One can see Many Glacier Hotel on Swiftcurrent  Lake in the deep valley.  The mountain to the left is Mt. Wilbur, Mount Allen is the first mountain to rise to the right of the deep Glacial Valley.  The hump of Mt Siyeh is visible in the far background.  At the far right is Swiftcurrent Lookout, with the lookout visible on the top of the Mountain.

This amazing pano, is actually nearly the opposite view of the Pano above. It was taken from the summit of Henkel Mountain looking east in the dead center. Heaven's Peak is visible on the far side of the pinnacle.  Mt Wilbur is visible rising above snowy Iceberg Lake, with ShangriLa chilling on the high basin of Wilbur.  The lake barely visible on the far left is Josephine Lake.  The hump of Siyeh is barely visible on the far left.  Mt Gould is visible with snow on it's northern flank.

Here is Ptarmigan falls.  This fall is reached at the divide of Iceberg Lake and Ptarmigan Tunnel.  The fall is barely visible from the trail, to get his amazing picture I hiked down slightly off the trail.
