Lake McDonald

Living by Lake McDonald I got to see the many moods of the lake.  Many a time I was out kayaking than caught in a windstorm.  I got to see the lake at it's highest and coldest in late may and june.  I got to see the lake when it was decently cold to swim in and 7 feet lower than at it's high point.  Quite a beautiful lake, I have many pictures of it from summits of mountains.                                                                                    Since the lake is the lowest point in the park it has much more decent weather than say, swiftcurrent lake.  It also has much more beautiful temperate forests than the other parts of the park.
