Saint Mary Panoramas

 

St. Mary doesn't have a ton of trails zigzagging through out it.  The lake pretty much is the Valley, and than steep mountains upthrust from it's depths till they disapear into the prairies.  The valley is extraordinary though.  The view form the prairies is inspiring.  It's definitely a place to stop and smell the flowers.  St Mary is the first place encountered after crossing to the east side of the divide.

View from near Siyeh Pass, Pollock and Piegan Mountains are visible in the center with a small Glacier separating the two.  Mount Reynolds is visible to the left of the picture with a Cloud hovering over the summit.  The valley is known as Preston Park, and is one of the most Beautiful areas to Photograph Wildflowers, and Wild life.
