  Northern Areas of GNP Panoramas

Although the Northern Areas of GNP covers alot of area, I put them together since I have not many pictures from these  parts of the park, at least yet.  The northern areas are the North Livingston Range, the North Central Area, and the Northern Lewis Range.  These areas are not very Frequented since to get deep in them you'd have to backpack in 20+ miles.  Although I've barely sine these areas they are quite spectacular and very Rugged.

Small Panorama from Gable Pass looking north.  10,466 Mount Cleveland (highest in park) is visible with it's huge south Face, and the great peaks around the north central area.  This was taken while hiking to Chief Mtn.

9,080' |=| Chief Mountain, View towards St Mary valley and the Smaller Peaks around that.  Yellow Mountain and it's great Rubble Fields that choked Otatso Creek and created Slide Lake.

The Vast Prairies of North West Montana visible from Chief mountain

A dusk view from descent of Chief Mountain.  The Papoose and the Squaw, little peaks in the center of the image are visible.  Some of the higher peaks around many glacier are visible, including Mt. Gould, and Mt. Merritt with Old Sun Glacier clinging to it's East Face.
