Description

Piegan Mountain isn't the most spectacular looking mountain from Logan's Pass. Much more beautiful from the Preston Park area where you can see Piegan Glacier. Pretty Easy hike. Hike the same route as Pollock Mountain. Start at Lunch Creek and head up the valley to the top. There is a angular break in the cliffs that you scramble up to reach the Saddle of the two mountains. From there head to the right and follow the ridge to the Summit. There are actually two summits of Piegan Mountain. A north and south summit with the Glacier between the two. The north summit is the higher.
