This is a beautiful hike. You hike the trail than
it splits. You can either go to Iceberg lake or Ptarmigan Tunnel.
Now it's exactly what it sounds like, a tunnel drilled straight through
the rock so the casual hiker doesn't have to bust out the ropes, pitons
and chocks. Going through Ptarmigan Tunnel one should hike a bit of the
way to Elizabeth Lake till you can see Helen Lake it's not much further
but worth it. |
