Still high enough flow for it to come over the top

Low flow so the Falls only come out of the Cave

This was taken in May, the Highest Flow I've ever seen of the falls.  The river was too high to get near to the Falls.

Running Eagle Falls

Running Eagle Falls is about .3 mile walk to the Falls.  It's quite spectacular and amongst the most interesting waterfalls I have ever seen.  At high flow the waterfall goes over the top and through a small cave that has been eroded away by the running water.  When it is low flow the Falls come out of the cave only.  Running Eagle Falls is a very Holy place to the Blackfeet Nation.  It is also called trick falls for the reason that it comes out of a cave.
